An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant join our client, a leading UK Transport company based in Southampton. The successful Administration Assistant will be responsible for the assisting senior management with all adhoc tasks and administration support required to keep the office running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, and will provide comprehensive administration support to a dynamic and busy team. It is essential that the Administration Assistant can communicate confidently with colleagues, as well as providing good customer service when required.

Administration Assistant Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Electronic filing of documents using internal systems and Microsoft Office in order to track data
  • Archiving hard copy documents with high attention to detail to ensure ease of access
  • Handling incoming / outgoing correspondence via email, telephone and post
  • Assisting the wider administration team with additional duties such as photocopying, scanning and faxing
  • Liaising with team members to ensure documents are passed on to the relevant person and logged correctly into the database

Administration Assistant Essential Skills Include:

  • A minimum of one year administration experience
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Possess a high attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to confidently use your own initiative and make decisions
