Our client is seeking a confident part-time candidate with excellent administrative skills with a strong emphasis in meeting minute taking. The incumbent would also help to plan events, prepare agendas for national meetings and draft meeting minutes.  In this role, you would be a point of contact for queries and would be providing administrative support within a busy office.

Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise strategy meetings, collate items for discussion, draft agendas and circulate papers
  • Draft meeting minutes and monitor follow-up on agreed actions
  • Provide administrative support for national events, booking venues, helping with advertising, registering participants, co-ordinating attendance by regional staff
  • Attend outreach events, providing a helpful contact point and source of information on the capabilities of the company
  • Prepare evaluation materials for events and collate feedback
  • Provide administrative support to task-and-finish groups (TFGs)
  • Help maintain the information and links on the national website
  • Maintain Hub resources / intranet
  • Provide support to the company’s teams on the use of the Hub / wide intranet
  • Support the preparation and distribution of national leaflets / publications
  • Monitor and control stock levels of national leaflets / publications
  • Co-ordinate requests to observe funding committee meetings as observers

Administrator Essentials Skills and Experience:

  • At least two years of administration experience
  • Higher Education experience is desirable, specifically working with Academics
  • Minute taking experience
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Confident IT skills specifically Microsoft Office
  • Good organisation with the ability to prioritise tasks
