Managing a team of Credit Controllers, who are responsible for their own ledgers, you will oversee performance and development of your team.

As well as allocation of accounts to the appropriate Litigation Clerk on a weekly basis, you will be responsible for checking and monitoring work arising from the litigation team.

The role will be a blend of supervisory/team lead duties as well as completing credit control work.

Duties include:

  • Review processes and procedures, identify improvements and implement
  • Create and maintain KPI’s and performance expectations for the team
  • Complete 1-2-1 reviews, recruit when necessary, drive performance standards, coach and mentor individuals
  • Ensure individuals are trained and developed to the best of their ability
  • Take ownership of allocated ledgers, proactively ensuring reduction of aged debt
  • Resolve complex, escalated customer issues and queries

Technical Knowledge and Ability:

Must have previous experience in a credit control function, responsibility for managing a small team, preferably within a busy environment.

The salary offered is £25,000 – £30,000 per annum.
