An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join a leading supplier in Avonmouth on a permanent basis.

This position will suit someone who thrives in a busy environment and is happy talking to a wide variety of people. If you have excellent Excel skills and a strong, confident telephone manner, this could be the position for you!

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for your own ledger
  • Minimising bad debt and a mixture of high volume and high value debts
  • Ensuring all accounts are chased within the set timescales
  • Maintaining customers credit limits daily
  • Logging all incoming and outgoing correspondence to ensure a detailed audit trail on the internal system
  • Ensuring all chasing letters are checked and sent out within the set timescales
  • Maintaining a professional manner at all times when liaising with customers and internal staff

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills to include Excel
  • Previous experience with Salesforce
  • A friendly and approachable manner
  • A forward thinking approach and be able to juggle a busy work load

Due to the location of this role it is essential that you have your own transport.

This a full time (Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm/9am – 5.30pm), permanent position paying £20k.
