An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a leading supplier in the Clifton area on a permanent basis offering £25,000 plus excellent benefits.

Responsible for your own ledger, this position will suit someone looking for an extremely varied role who thrives in a busy environment. If you have excellent Excel skills, a confident telephone manner and a drive to resolve queries this could be the position for you!

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for your own ledger
  • Conduct regular credit checks on new and existing customers
  • Work with the sales team to ensure pending invoices are paid on time
  • Issue final demands and agree next steps with company management
  • Review new customer account applications
  • Ensuring all accounts are chased within the set timescales
  • Log all incoming and outgoing correspondence to ensure a detailed audit trail on the internal system
  • Maintain a professional manner at all times when liaising with customers and internal staff

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organised and methodical with good attention to detail and accuracy
  • A forward thinking approach and be able to juggle a busy work load
  • Previous experience with handling trade credit insurance claims is desirable but not essential

This a full time (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm) permanent position with free parking onsite, offering £25,000 plus benefits.
