A well renowned FMCG company in North Bristol are currently seeking a Demand Planner to join their busy team to help manage new and existing product lines by maintaining inventory levels and provide reliable forecasting in line with demand.

If you have previous purchasing or demand planning experience and are looking for a new opportunity in which you can develop your skills and take ownership of your own workload, then this could be the perfect role for you!

The main responsibilities for this role are;

  • To manage product lines, stock packaging and collection timescales and ensure deadlines are met
  • Produce weekly sales reports and stock updates
  • Provide reliable forecasting to support the purchasing team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Marketing, New Product Development, Customer Care, Warehouse Management and Finance departments
  • Evaluate the efficiency of processes and implement new procedures where necessary
  • Support the Head of Inventory Planning and Purchasing with forecasting, purchasing and planning

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Strong Microsoft office skills to include Excel (Pivots and V-Look up)
  • Ability to show confidence and take ownership of own workload and adapt to change where necessary
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • A self-motivated and forward thinking approach and be able to juggle a busy work load

This a full time 37.5 hours per week permanent position (Monday to Friday) with free parking onsite. The salary offered is £23,000 – £24,000 depending on experience.
