An excellent opportunity has become available for an Executive Assistant to join our client, a leading London University, to support a Head of Department within their Senior Management team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting a team and ensuring comprehensive support is given in regards to inbox and diary management and monitoring all educational governance requirements.

The ideal candidate will have past experience of working in a professional environment, a strong work ethic and experience in coordination. If you are able to work within a fast paced environment, liaise with people of all levels and can identify problems as they arise, then this could be the perfect challenge for you!

Executive Assistant Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange internal and external meetings including preparing agendas and minute taking
  • Coordinate extensive travel arrangements and itineraries to multiple destinations
  • Manage a busy diary electronically, acting as gatekeeper, whilst liaising with stakeholders and various departments via telephone and emails
  • Financial administration duties including reporting and managing budgets
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships across the department
  • Research, prepare and present highly confidential documents
  • Support the Director on ad hoc / discreet projects, as required

Executive Assistant Skills and Experience

  • Previous Executive Assistant experience is desirable
  • A professional and positive demeanour with the ability to be discrete with confidential information
  • Excellent organisational skills, time management and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and oral
  • A high level of accuracy and consistent attention to detail
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
