Signature has an excellent opportunity for a graduate to join a Leading transportation company during a period of growth and improvement. The business and IT function are in a mixed-on site and hosted infrastructure solution. The candidate will be required to learn and embrace new technologies as the company looks to continue providing a better service to the business.

Working as part of a small team you will be providing 1st, and 2nd level technical support and guidance to the business as well as working on assigned projects to provide business support and IT efficiencies. Graduate IT Support Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with users and team members to ensure incidents and requests are resolved to customers’ satisfaction
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of your work
  • Work in a project team that is business driven and contribute to overall growth
  • To investigate, identify and resolve software and system faults within company guidelines
  • Support the IT service helpdesk so that it operates effectively for daily support
  • Ensuring configurations, changes and systems are documented and operated in line with industry best practice
  • Ensure Work Procedures are created, adhered to and updated as necessary
  • Ensure backups are maintained and tested on a routine basis
  • Understand the requirements and threats associated with the types of networks and the ability to adhere to security protocols set by the company

Graduate IT Support Essential Skills:

  • Appreciation of Microsoft, Vmware and networking technologies
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and complex issues to non-technical people
  • Demonstrates ability to implement and meet targets
  • Demonstrate strong analytical capability
  • Excellent logical problem solver
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively to deliver the best customer experience possible
  • Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation
