We are seeking an experienced and proficient HR Manager to join an international brand in South Bristol. By serving as a strategic partner, you will be leading the HR services for the company within a small team.

This is a full time, permanent position and is offering up to £45,000 salary.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Understand and support strategic planning and contribute to organisational development
  • Maintain and develop HRM policies, procedures and records, e.g. staff handbook, absence management etc
  • Legislation compliance, including GDPR from an HR perspective
  • Preserving employment relations and providing council to management and staff members
  • Promote and maintain diversity and equality
  • Support performance and change management – review appraisals, propose improvements etc
  • Control and monitor employee benefits and oversee payroll clerk

To be considered for the role you must have:

  • Level 5 or above CIPD Qualification (or equivalent) in HR
  • Strong HR experience and firm understanding of employment law
  • Ability to take ownership and lead with strategic business decisions
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • International experience desirable but not essential
