We are pleased to present this excellent opportunity for a Membership Coordinator to join our Client, an established association, specialised for Medical Professionals. This role is offered on a temporary basis with immediate start, located in the Central London area. The Membership coordinator will manage the application process, liaise with members and be involved in wellbeing projects.

Membership Coordinator Key Responsibilities

  • The Organisation is transitioning from an old membership database to new (Microsoft Dynamics), post holder will ensure that day to day business is maintained whilst new system is being implemented
  • To process new, renewed and existing membership in new CRM
  • Enter and amend financial data relating to subscription
  • Act as the first point of contact for telecommunications and emails with members to maximise both retention and sales and in line with the service standards set in the membership information services policy
  • Manage all contacts with members in an efficient way, particularly dealing with correspondences and telephone enquiries
  • To assist the Head of Education and Membership services with member wellbeing initiatives, for example the member mentoring scheme
  • Assist in maintaining and developing a system for membership renewals, involving renewal and follow-up letters and to assist in encouraging new membership through the membership online form
  • Provide accurate information to new applicants, including actively promoting membership services and benefits
  • Contribute to regular data cleansing procedures to ensure that the membership database is maintained and refreshed in order to certify its validity
  • Produce reports from the database (for audit, circulation of newsletters and journal, membership statistics, etc.)
  • Assist with producing management information relating to membership as required
  • Prioritise the workload as agreed with the Head of Education and membership services and the Membership Officer, alerting any delays or problems with the administration of membership
  • To update the procedures for the team, ensuring all new procedures are documented

Membership Coordinator Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working with a Membership Organisation is highly advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years of administrative experience
  • Previous Membership Coordinator experience is highly desirable
  • Experience in using a range of databases, with experience of running database reports and performing database extractions
  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics is desirable
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to multitask
  • A great, can do attitude
  • Well-developed people and customer service skills
