Our client an established goods trading Organisation in the Central London area is currently recruiting for an Operations Officer on a temporary basis. The successful applicant will provide administrative support to the Operations Department, act as a first point of contact for customer queries and maintenance related matters whilst liaising with other members of staff and departments.

The ideal Operations Officer will strong administrative background, excellent organisational and multi-tasking and communication skills. Operations Officer Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to the Operations Department on a day to day basis
  • Supporting duties for various departments and teams within the organisation when required
  • Operating as a first point of contact on behalf of the organisation
  • Ensuring all customer enquiries, maintenance and service requests in an efficient and timely manner whilst maintaining its tracking system
  • Booking travel and accommodation for the department when required
  • Arranging repairs where necessary in a timely manner, ensuring business disruption is minimised
  • Maintaining the vehicle entry system, producing statistics report for payments and reconcile returns when required
  • Producing operational reports, such as Health & Safety and budgetary reports
  • Assisting the Facilities Manager and maintaining Facilities contractor details
  • Liaising with Finance Department to ensure all invoices and orders are processed accurately

Operations Officer Key Skills:

  • At least 5 years of previous experience working in a service or administrative role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy to a high standard
  • Systematic and results driven approach
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
