An outstanding opportunity has become available for a Programme Administrator to join our client a top-tier University based in London, on a temporary and flexible, three day a week Part-Time basis. As a member of this professional team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the course and Programme administration.

The ideal candidate will have fantastic interpersonal skills as you will be regularly liaising with students and academics in a professional environment. If you can work independently as well as part of a team and have administration experience within higher education, then this could be the role for you!

Programme Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Programmes team with all aspects of the annual cycle of administration
  • Collect, maintain and distribute student, module and course data, including attendance recording
  • Create and maintain systems for student records management
  • Contribute to the administration of assessments, including formatting and submission of exam papers, preparing mark sheets, compiling mitigating circumstances paperwork from students, and assisting with preparations for Assessment Sub-Board meetings
  • Support timetabling processes by booking rooms and liaising with the timetabling team to troubleshoot when problems arise
  • Handle queries from current students in a professional, courteous and timely manner
  • Maintain and update the programme’s e-learning content
  • Assist with enrolment and induction of new students, working with the Programme Leader to develop appropriate induction materials for students

Programme Administrator Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working within the Higher Education sector
  • High proficiency when using Microsoft Office programmes such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint and excellent general IT skills
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Able to be responsible for and prioritise effectively your own workload, and work to deadlines
  • Excellent ability to work independently
