We have an excellent Pensions Helpdesk opportunity to join a busy financial services company in Central Bristol, with a salary of £22,000 per annum. This role would be perfect for candidates who are passionate about providing a high standard of customer service, and are keen to develop a more detailed pensions understanding from legislation through to compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide telephone support to clients with a range of queries across all pension and investment packages
  • To maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant pensions and investment law
  • To provide administrative support to both internal and external clients as required
  • To assess Helpdesk procedures and implement improvements as required

Skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated financial services knowledge is highly desirable
  • Previous pensions experience would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and telephone skills are essential
  • Experience of working with a wide range of people would be desirable
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment, and in customer services would be desirable

About you:

  • You will be personable and confident with answering clients’ pension queries over the phone
  • You will be objective, patient and understanding; and able to assist clients with a range of queries regarding multiple pension packages
  • You will be adaptable and happy to perform a range of administration tasks, which will vary day-to-day
  • You will be highly professional, and confident in a corporate environment
