An exceptional opportunity has become available for a Personal Assistant to join our client, a top tier University in the West – Central London area on a temporary basis. The successful applicant will provide all round assistance to the Head of Department, gaining invaluable experience at a prestigious Institution.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Personal Assistant, proven ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels of seniority and have worked in a fast-paced environment. If you possess excellent communication and organizational skills and you have high attention to detail, this can be the perfect opportunity for you.

Personal Assistant Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining, managing and updating a complex diary, responding to meeting requests, dealing with conflicting priorities in an organised and efficient manner
  • Arranging travel and related documentation and accommodation for the Head of Department and guests when required
  • Meeting and greeting visitors the Head of Department and interview attendees
  • Raising purchase orders and processing expenses
  • Keeping the Head of Department up to date and informed of on-going issues and developments
  • Day to day maintenance of the Head of Department’s personal web pages, involving the upload of information regarding meetings and seminars

Personal Assistant Skills and Experience

  • Extensive Personal Assistant experience at a senior level
  • Experience working in a Higher Education sector is desirable
  • Strong understanding of the complete Microsoft package
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Effective ability to build strong working relationships
