Our Client, a leading University in the South West London area is looking for a Postgraduate Programme Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis with immediate start. The successful candidate will provide high quality, professional support and coordination for the MBA suite Programme Team.

The ideal applicant will have previous experience dealing with student queries, ideally within the higher education sector and with event management.  Programme Coordinator Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Programme Director with organisation and coordination of events
  • Coordinate and book speakers ensuring that dates work for the different MBA cohorts
  • Book rooms and catering for internal meetings including on-campus student social events
  • To collate and coordinate course materials for delivery to students via the Hub
  • Populate programme pages on the Hub with materials and information, ensuring accuracy, clarity and consistency in content
  • To monitor coursework submissions and marking and ensure all marks returned to students via the Hub
  • Monitor attendance to compulsory workshops
  • Answer routine questions from students and academics, monitor the Hub forums and shared team email account
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support when required

Programme Coordinator Skills and Experience

  • Experience of programme administration in higher education or similar academic environment
  • Excellent IT skills: MS Office (particularly PowerPoint), email (Outlook) and web publishing
  • Experience/knowledge of organising events
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; with students and staff
  • Able to work independently, take initiative and problem solve
  • Good personal organisation and effective time management
  • Able to pay close attention to detail and work to deadlines
  • Experience of working effectively within a team
