Signature Recruitment has the privilege to represent this excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Client, a prestigious University in the Central London area on a temporary, basis with immediate start. The Project Manager will manage and track the data migration project.

The ideal applicant will have previous experience with project management, ideally related to data migration, be highly IT literate and will have an understanding of a Virtual Learning Environment and/or CMS systems. Project Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a project of migrating paper processes to a new placement management database and follow through on related activities
  • Creating training/user manuals to support migration to a new system
  • Timetabling production, working closely with academics to set up their timetables for September; working across multiple stakeholders
  • Supporting production of programme handbook content for publication on the virtual learning environment (VLE); working closely with Programme Managers across a range of programmes
  • Supporting student communication, this can include newsletter production etc
  • Supporting with assessment administration and examination events, such as invigilation duties

Project Manager Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working with a virtual learning environment (such as KEATS or MOODLE) or website content management system is essential
  • Experience working in a higher education or similar setting is highly advantegous
  • Experience of mapping business processes, particularly to support moving from paper to online Project
  • Excellent communication skills; able to present a high level of written work and information for multiple audiences
  • Exacting standards of accuracy across all work and ability to work to deadlines and manage workload independently
  • High standard of IT literacy across all MS programmes
  • Flexibility – as may required to work across campuses and visit other sites
