An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Merchandising Planner to join an FMCG marketing consultancy.

This role is working directly with a national FMCG client to help create, strategise and implement in-store merchandising campaigns and display plans in line with stakeholder requirements. You will be responsible for managing campaigns from start to finish, managing relationships between stakeholders, analysing data for sales performance and insights to ensure maximised return.

The responsibilities for this role will be to:

  • Design and implement strategic and operational merchandising plans for the client and manage from start to finish
  • Cultivate and maintain a strong relationship with key stakeholders, arranging weekly meetings
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to understand client and retailer plans for achieving merchandising objectives
  • Be involved directly with generating creative input for marketing campaigns
  • Communicate the plan to the operations team and work closely with them to seek out and maximise opportunities
  • Liaise with your stakeholders and internal teams to generate data, analyse and draw conclusions from data in order to help maximise return of sales
  • Use data and insights to plan for stock control across various retailers
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager with merchandising business activities

The right candidate for this role will:

  • Have strong proven account management experience
  • Have previous experience within the FMCG market or a field marketing consultancy
  • Have excellent project management and coordination experience
  • Experience managing the relationship with a large brand – FMCG if possible
  • Be analytical with data and have a positive attitude to make an impact, helping to drive campaigns forward

Please note this role is based in London within the client’s key account office but will require occasional travel to Bristol.

Salary: Up-to £34,000 dependant on experience
