An excellent opportunity has become available to join our client, a renowned London university, as a Student Services Officer in their Medical Faculty Office. This excellent opportunity is a permanent position in which you will be responsible for administering the planning and delivery of all operational aspects of student services including the managing of staff and financial budgeting.

Student Services Officer Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all aspects of the admissions cycle, including publicity, events and the recruitment process
  • Contribute towards to the strategic planning and development of the Faculty Office
  • Oversee all operational aspects of the admissions and welfare processes
  • Manage the process for incoming students’ scholarship applications
  • Provide administrative support to key academic leads including Directors and Senior Tutors Arrange and manage shortlisting and interview sessions, collating documentation and recording relevant information
  • Maintain accurate electronic student records in line with the Faculty Office
  • Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders in a friendly, professional manner

Student Services Officer Skills and Experience

  • Higher Education experience at a similar level would be highly desirable
  • High level of computer literacy including strong Excel skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to be able to liaise with internal and external stakeholder
  • Ability to set and work to deadlines
  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills
  • Line management experience would be desirable
