Signature Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a great candidate to join our client, a school in the North West London area, as an Assistant Office Manager! The role will be a on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be highly organised with a strong attention to detail and will work well under pressure. You will also be expected to direct and lead the members of the office team.

Assistant Office Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Office Manager in the running of the office
  • Leading and directing of the office team
  • Having an overview of the school year and planning ahead
  • Providing general administrative support, including photocopying, other reprographics
  • Completing standard forms
  • Responding to routine correspondence from internal and external enquiries
  • Distributing information around the school to relevant parties
  • Have responsibility of several projects taking place throughout the year

Assistant Office Manager Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience of leading a team and working on own initiative
  • Experience of the use of a wide range of computer software (e.g. word processing, mail merge, spreadsheets, databases)
  • Knowledge/experience of Education sector and/or schools
  • Interpersonal skills – dealing with parents, students, colleagues and outside agencies
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage own workload to meet deadlines
