We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Communications Executive to join a professional services company in central Bristol on a permanent basis.

Responsible for providing support for all business development and marketing this role will suit someone who thrives in a busy and professional environment. If you are confident using Adobe Creative Suite and all social media platforms and are able to work to short deadlines, this could be the role for you!

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and drive company profile and increase presence in national and regional press
  • Strengthen existing relationships and company profile
  • Write press releases and comments for all target publications, on and off line
  • Manage a wide range of social media channels in a professional context, within brand guidelines
  • Develop content in the form of case study material, blogs and articles
  • Maintain company blog
  • Liaise and interview project teams to collect relevant information and updates
  • Edit content produced by colleagues, as required, including conceptualising the projects upfront and copy-editing prior to publishing
  • Events planning and execution for all internal and site events
  • Research, write and submit award submissions
  • Where appropriate, create re-usable, dynamic, compelling content copy that could also be used for external audiences
  • Work closely with senior management, marketing colleagues, other departments, external influencers and relevant 3rd parties, develop a creative employee engagement and internal communications strategy
  • Build effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the business
  • Contribute to the communications plan to deliver timely, effective and best practice business to business communications using the most appropriate channels and methods

Requirements

  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of building strong working relationships at all levels
  • Previous experience in a similar capacity
  • Organisation skills and the ability to multitask
  • The ability to take ownership of responsibilities and tasks

This is a full time, permanent position offering up to £30,000. Working hours are Monday to Friday (9am – 5:15pm). Due to the central location, no parking is available.
