Our client, a positive and prestigious company within the transport and planning sector, is recruiting for an Office Administrator to join the team at their Clifton office. The Office Administrator will be responsible for various administration duties, front of house reception duties and meeting room management. They will support the company directors, providing administrative and clerical assistance as required.

This is a part-time (within 25-30 hours) opportunity, so there is lots of flexibility – but the successful candidate must be able to work until 5:30pm for at least 4 days a week and availability for the whole of Friday is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Entering timesheets on system for a small number of directors and consultants
  • Dictation of letters and emails for a director
  • Diary management
  • Filing and archiving
  • Answering the phone and taking messages for colleagues
  • Booking conferences, events and accommodation
  • Meeting visitors and ensuring that the premises are presentable
  • Binding and photocopying
  • Organising team nights out
  • Other ad hoc administrative duties

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a similar role
  • A minimum of 2 years’ administrative or office experience
  • A positive, can-do attitude
