Job Description

Our client, a successful design company, are looking for some one to join them as an Office Manager with Project Coordination responsibilities included. This newly created role will suit someone proactive, flexible and trustworthy who thrives in a busy and varied role.

This is a permanent, part time or full time either working 4 days or 5 days per week – 10am till 4pm (4 days) OR 9am till 5:30pm (5 days). Paying up to £30k per annum DOE along with 21 days holiday plus bank holidays + an extra day for your birthday, annual bonus, flexible working hours and cycle to work scheme.

Based in their lovely office (BS4 – no parking), you will be joining a friendly and sociable team as the business goes from strength to strength.

Supporting 2 directors, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop business management reports
  • Maintain all areas of the office to ensure a professional environment including liaising with contractors and suppliers and welcoming guests
  • Create, develop and maintain company policies, processes and procedures.
  • Data entry to include updating records/data bases, personnel, financial and legal information.
  • Managing company correspondence, emails, letters and telephones.
  • Staff time sheet management.

Project coordination including:

  • Monitor and report on project progress including tracking budgets and spend
  • Ensure timely, clear and accurate communication of information with team members, clients, contractors and consultants.
  • Collate information and create project documents/files
  • Identify and resolve conflicts in information from diverse project team sources

The right candidate for this role will have:

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships.
  • Experience of liaising with key stakeholders and monitoring live projects.
  • Demonstratable financial and commercial awareness including previous experience of working with and managing costs and budgets.
  • Experience of working in a customer/client facing role.
  • Ability to work at pace whilst maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
