Signature recruitment are working with one of London’s Top Universities on an immediate start Programme Administrator vacancy. This role is an amazing opportunity for someone who’s looking for a challenge in a fast pace and varied administration position.

 

Based within the University’s Dental Department, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing professional, supportive and personable service to both students and academic staff. Day to day responsibilities would include; front line support, working as the first point of contact for problem solving and queries.

 

Programme Officer Key responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support student lifecycle processes from pre-enrolment activities, through to graduation and beyond
  • Utilising systems and databases to update student records
  • Support all assessment processes in line with University deadlines and regulations
  • Take responsibility for resolving students’ and academics’ enquiries, including face-to-face and via email, responding within agreed timeframes
  • Assist in ensuring that quality assurance requirements and, where required, accreditation requirements are met for relevant programmes, and servicing committees
  • Actively participate in the development and improvement of the programmes and processes through identifying and suggesting improvements based on user feedback
  • Work flexibly as part of a team, supporting others in times of high volume activity, providing cover and supporting the training and development of new staff members
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of the data protection requirements and to support Freedom of information and subject access requests

 

Programme Officer Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of two years office based experience
  • Ideally have worked in a Higher Education environment previously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office including Excel
  • Proactive with the ability to work independently as well as delivering within a team
  • Comfortable with adapting to change, driving own professional development
