Job Description

Are you a friendly and professional Receptionist seeking a temporary two-week assignment this June? Do you thrive in a role that requires exceptional communication and organisational skills? Signature Recruitment is excited to partner with a global investment company looking for a temporary, full-time Receptionist to be based in their London office. The role is Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with an hour for lunch.

In this Receptionist role, you will open the London office and provide a welcoming environment to staff and visitors. The role entails supporting an office with a team of five to ten individuals, including senior members of the company, who may be present on a day-to-day basis. In addition, you will deal with post and parcel deliveries and collections, arrange hotdesking and office space as well as answer telephone calls and emails, and provide general administrative assistance to colleagues. You will also ensure a clean, organised and well stocked reception area and close the office in the evening.

Receptionist Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting staff and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming and positive first impression
  • Actively dealing with post and parcels including courier services. Answering telephone calls, emails, and handling any face-to-face enquiries
  • Managing hotdesking arrangements and meeting room bookings
  • Providing administrative support to staff, including senior members of the team with diary management and travel arrangements and bookings
  • Lead in keeping the reception area tidy and organised, contributing to a welcoming environment, and ensuring tea, coffee and refreshments are well stocked
  • Other ad hoc administrative duties as required in order to ensure the smooth running of the office

Receptionist Key Skills:

  • A confident, positive, and approachable demeanour
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive with great organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient in IT – MS Office and Outlook
