Job Description

Are you a versatile and efficient professional looking for a new challenge in an academic setting? Do you have good HR administrative skills for managing the recruitment process within a busy and dynamic team? If so, Signature Recruitment is excited to be partnering with our client, a prestigious London University, for a Recruitment Support Officer. This is a full time, temporary role based on campus, with an immediate start for approximately two months.

As a Recruitment Support Officer, you will be working within the recruitment process – setting up posts on the HR system, tracking the application process and working closely with hiring managers to support interviews and employment offers. You will be confident using IT and in particular internal HR systems. In addition, you will happily carry out other ad-hoc administrative duties in order to assist colleagues and senior members of the team with the smooth running of the department.

Recruitment Support Officer Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting managers with the recruitment process. To include setting up posts on the HR system, tracking the applications, assisting with interview preparations and employment offers
  • Managing the recruitment database confidently highlighting any issues to recruiting managers
  • Liaising with HR to ensure processes are followed and proceeding efficiently
  • Staying up to date on changes to the recruitment process by liaising with HR and effectively communicating these changes to others
  • Taking responsibility for specific tasks or projects if and when required
  • Assisting with other ad hoc administrative duties in order to support with the smooth running of the department

Recruitment Support Officer Key Skills:

  • Exceptional organisation, time management and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
  • A confident and proactive approach to handling tasks, a quick learner with good interpersonal skills
  • Highly Proficient IT skills including MS Office with experience in HR database systems
