Signature are excited to be partnering with a global FMCG brand who are looking for a Sales Planner to join their team and work with their global distributors. This is a newly created, but very important role within the international Distributor and Emerging Markets.

The Sales Planner will be the primary point of contact for field and internal sales teams and the companies’ international distributor network for all sales, operations, marketing and product launch queries.

You will anticipate and ensure that international distributors have all required tools and assets to enable them to exceed revenue objectives and promote/develop the brands successfully in critical emerging markets. The Sales Planner will also be responsible for Distributor communications, pricelist creation, trade event support, sales forecasting and sales support functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with V.P. International Market Development to develop and deliver against business analytics improvement strategy relating to the distributor and emerging markets channels. Create a portfolio of business intelligence tools for use in critical decision-making scenarios internationally.
  • Work with sales partners to identify opportunities and weaknesses within territories and make proposals to create value and increase operational efficiency.
  • Create, and maintain effective Distributor communications (consistent, accurate, and timely).
  • Work with Sales Operations Manager and Customer Care-Internal Sales Team to create and maintain a world-class sales support culture, focused on results by providing delivering outstanding service delivery.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Sales Team and Distributors for sales communications, marketing and product launch queries.
  • Attend seasonal Trade Shows to support field and internal sales teams, and assist in business review development with existing and new trade partners.
  • Remain knowledgeable (Subject Matter Expert) of product launches, key processes, business initiatives and internal resources.

To excel in this role, you’ll need to be:

  • A confident communicator
  • Highly driven and results orientated
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Experienced in working within an internationally focused Sales and/or Marketing function.
  • Able to travel as required meeting team and department goals.
  • Multi-linguistics an asset (French or German)

This is a permeant, full time role, paying between £30,000 and £32,000 DOE. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, successful business, and represents a fantastic opportunity to fulfil a busy, varied role. This role is based in North Bristol. Location is a little tricky via public transport so you’ll need your own transport.
