Are you a friendly and professional Receptionist in search of a temporary assignment to last until September? Do you thrive in a role that requires exceptional communication and organisational skills? Signature Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a distinguished senior school in London for the recruitment of a Receptionist. This full-time office-based role has an immediate start and offers £12/hr.

As Receptionist and first point of contact for the school, you’ll present a professional image at all times. You’ll play a pivotal part in managing the school’s bustling reception area, interfacing directly with students, staff, and parents. Your daily responsibilities will include greeting visitors, handling inquiries in person and via phone, and providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of school activities. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a confident and professional demeanour.

Receptionist Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist students, staff, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Handle telephone and email inquiries, ensuring messages are relayed accurately and promptly.
  • Coordinate the booking and use of meeting rooms and school facilities.
  • Support administrative tasks, including mail distribution and managing deliveries.
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area, contributing to a positive first impression of the school.
  • Assist in the coordination of school events and functions as required.

Receptionist Key Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in using office software and managing information systems.
  • A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is essential.
