Signature Recruitment has an excellent opportunity to join our Client, a leading community School based in North West London, as a Timetabling Coordinator on a full time, personal basis! The school is a rigours academic institution where pupils’ timetables are packed full and every child is given opportunities. The successful candidate will be supporting the Office Manager and Headmistress at the School.

The Timetabling Coordinator will be responsible for arranging the teacher’s timetables and coordinating the location and class set ups. You will be an organised person who is capable of juggling priorities effectively and dealing with varying demands. If this sounds like it would be a good fit for you, then please read on!

Timetabling Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and managing the School duty rota
  • Working with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to create a full school timetable
  • Ensuring the duty rota is timely and accurate
  • Helping to monitor the children at various time in the day
  • Creating exams schedules
  •  Line managing the Exam Invigilation staff
  • Liaising with various Administrators to ensure correct procedures for documentation are followed
  • Communicating with the caretaker regarding which rooms are available for teaching and exams and coordinating this effectively

Timetabling Coordinator Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience of the use of a wide range of computer software (e.g. word processing, advanced Excel)
  • Experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with people on all levels, from students and parents to staff
  • Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of and to contribute to the school administrative team
  • Ability to work methodically, with exceptional attention to detail
