Our client is looking for a Site Administrator to join a new project in Exeter (north). The Site Administrator will take responsibility for uploading and tracking all information relating to the project including site documentation, letters, and drawings. Providing key administration support to the project team, the candidate will demonstrate the ability to build and maintain a professional relationship’s and work in an organised and effective manner.

Key responsibilities of the Site Administrator include:

  • Being the first point of contact for the site team, via telephone, email and face to face
  • Coordinating internal/external meetings, distributing agendas and follow up actions
  • Diary management duties
  • Write and distribute reports, emails, memos, communications as required
  • Maintain site filing system, including emails and attachments (electronic & paper)
  • Distribute, file and copy all correspondence as required (file electronically)
  • Ensure all original documents are sent to main site file or stored/archived electronically
  • Document control, including scanning and uploading project drawings
  • Keeping the project management teams informed about ongoing, completed and upcoming tasks
  • Managing all interfaces with document control between the various project offices and sites
  • Log materials received and file delivery tickets
  • Raising purchase orders, managing supplier records, invoicing, chasing outstanding payments
  • Liaising with sub-contractors, senior management and clients

The right candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a similar role within the construction industry is essential
  • Strong administrative and organisation skills
  • IT Literate, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Personable, polite and well presented
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Organised
  • Positive attitude to work


This is a temporary position for the duration of the project- minimum of 3 months. Working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday this role will be based on site in portakabin offices.

This vacancy is paying £10 per hour, plus holiday pay. A DBS check will be required.
