Job Description

Are you passionate about creating an outstanding student experience within a vibrant academic community? Are you a confident communicator with a background in social sciences? Signature Recruitment is partnered with our client, a leading London university, seeking a Student Experience Coordinator. This hybrid role has an immediate start with a duration of 3 months.

As Student Experience Coordinator within the Faculty of Social Sciences, you’ll be instrumental in delivering the Student Experience Strategy. You’ll focus on events organisation, student engagement, and ensuring a seamless transition into academic life for students. This role provides the opportunity to contribute significantly to the student journey, from recruitment through to graduation, within a large, diverse, and international student body. Your efforts will support the faculty’s aim to provide an enriching academic and social environment, fostering career readiness, wellbeing, and a strong sense of community among students and alumni.

Student Experience Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of the Student Experience Strategy, enhancing student satisfaction and engagement across the faculty.
  • Coordinate and deliver welcome and induction activities, ensuring a positive start for new students at the university.
  • Organise a variety of events, including social activities, wellbeing workshops, career-readiness programs, and alumni networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with programme directors, department heads, and the Communications Manager to align student voice initiatives with faculty goals.
  • Address and solve logistical and administrative challenges, ensuring the smooth execution of significant events like graduation.
  • Engage with student representatives and support the election process, facilitating effective student participation and feedback mechanisms.

Student Experience Coordinator Key Skills:

  • A degree in Social Sciences or related field, with experience in student union work or similar roles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong task management abilities, from concept development through to event delivery.
  • A tenacious, people-oriented approach, capable of inspiring participation and addressing challenges creatively.

This role is an excellent opportunity to join a vibrant and supportive academic community. If you’re ready to apply your skills and passion to support the growth and success of students, we encourage you to apply.

While we aim to respond to every applicant, the volume of applications may result in delayed communication. If you do not receive a response within a week, your application may not have been successful on this occasion, but we will keep your details for potential future opportunities.
