If so, join our client, a university in London, as a Student Voice Assistant. This role is offered with an immediate start for two months with the possibility to extend. This is a temporary, full-time position with a hybrid work structure – two days on campus and three days remotely.

During this busy and exciting time of change, your role as a Student Voice Assistant will be to provide administrative support to the Education Strategy & Development Team. This will include monitoring student voice platforms, drafting student and staff communications such as emails, newsletter articles and social media. You will also look after the shared inbox management and respond to student queries. You will liaise with other teams to ensure effective communication and event support. In addition, other ad-hoc administrative duties in order to assist the smooth running of the department.

Student Voice Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support including responding to a shared inbox, organising meetings, taking notes and following up with actions
  • Monitoring and sharing student feedback on the online student voice platform
  • Drafting student and staff communications such as emails, newsletter articles and social media
  • Maintaining web pages including adding up to date information
  • Assisting in the organisation of campus events by handling invitations, room bookings, and catering arrangements
  • Liaising with others across all programmes, as well as the Student Experience team, Careers team, and Programme Directors and Administrators

Student Voice Assistant Key Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write engaging articles
  • Strong time management and organisational skills – thriving in a busy, changing environment
  • Highly proficient in IT – able to learn new software quickly
  • Proactive and personable
