Job Description

Signature recruitment have partnered exclusively with a prestigious engineering company within the sustainable transport and planning sector, in the hunt for a Transport Planning Coordinator. They are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to work alongside their internal directors and design team to gather and collate information to create documents for tenders.

This is a great opportunity to learn on the job. Previous experience with specific software is not required as comprehensive training will be provided, ensuring all candidates feel confident and supported in their responsibilities.

This is a full-time permanent role based in Bristol. The role is hybrid, with Monday & Thursday being in office days and full onsite parking is provided.

This role does not require any experience, they are looking for someone with a great can-do attitude, organised and able to manage a busy work load. If you are looking to get their teeth stuck into the world of sustainable transport and planning this is the role for you!

Salary & Benefits

  • Basic salary of up to £20,000 – £25,000 DOE
  • Flexible hybrid model

Responsibilities

  • Approach local councils for records such as accident information and highway records
  • Ensuring all payments are made promptly and all outstanding orders are chased and received
  • Exploring sustainability travel routes
  • Gaining information from utility companies e.g. water and gas mains within the area
  • Using design software (autoCAD or Illustrator) to combine and present back to internal members
  • Utilities Swept Path Analysis within project specifications

Requirements

  • Great organisational skills.
  • Good communication and a team player
  • Ability to commute to the Clifton office a minimum of 2 times a week
  • An interest in sustainable travel
