Admissions Officer for Prestigious Private Preschool – Immediate Start!

 An excellent opportunity is available for an Admissions Officer to join our Client, an established Private Preschool in the North London area on a temporary capacity. The Admissions Officer will act as a brand ambassador who understands the School’s values, appreciates individual parent and student needs and can effectively provide information to prospective families.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills through previous experience. If you are able to organise and prioritise your own workload and have a flexible, can-do attitude, then this could be the perfect role for you!

Admissions Officer Key Responsibilities

  • Develop personal rapport with and deliver personalised visit experience to prospective parents and students
  • Conduct pre-visit surveys to gather information on specific needs, background and profile of each parent and student pre-visit to prepare and tailor the approach
  • Conduct 1:1 and group tours of the school and answer parent and student queries during post tour consultations
  • Proactively follow up all new enquiries and post-visit, to convert to the next stage of the admissions process
  • Maintain contact with all live enquiries during the admissions process
  • Maintain the prospective parents’ Portal and SIMS databases and ensure accurate data-input for all stages of the process
  • Coordinate receipt of all documentation relevant to support a new admission and maintain admissions file ahead of transfer to school office on enrolment
  • Conduct follow-up calls to parents who did not choose School to build a body of knowledge on where the school loses pupils to and areas for improvement
  • Assist with the transfer of admissions records between schools for families who switch between campuses
  • Act as brand ambassador and present the school to prospective parents and students at recruitment events, open days and information sessions locally
  • Build relationships with key partners, affiliates and influencers in the communities locally

 Admissions Officer Skills and Experience

  • Enhanced and in-date DBS check
  • Educated to a degree level (achieved a minimum of 2:1)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong service ethic
  • Outcome focussed and works well to deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain accuracy to a high standard
  • High level of organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Exceptional IT skills (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Flexible attitude
