Our Bristol office is currently recruiting for an experienced Compliance Administrator on a temporary basis to assist during a busy period. You will own and complete a variety of transactional finance, compliance and administration tasks. Responsibilities are outlined below:

  • Reconciling invoices
  • Low volume credit control, checking the aged debtor report and reconciliations
  • Overseeing weekly payroll, ensuring PO’s and invoices are correct, chasing outstanding timesheets
  • Processing AWR calculations (Agency Worker Regulations)
  • Compliance checks: ensure candidates are eligible to work in the UK, have completed a Registration Form, referee details and signed Terms of Business before the start date
  • Check all non-UK/EEU passports for eligibility to work in the UK and following up with candidate if absent
  • Adhering to strict employment legislation and compliance policies
  • Complete weekly and monthly reporting and analysis on performance, best practice, forecast vs actual etc
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management information reporting packs
  • Stationery ordering and petty cash
  • Ensuring all new clients and suppliers have been credit checked
  • General administrative tasks to support the team and clients as required

This role requires:

  • Demonstrable ability to communicate to a high level (written and verbal)
  • High level of MS Office, especially Excel skills
  • Numeracy, with a firm grasp of numbers and excellent attention to detail
  • A natural completer/finisher

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have previous administrative and transactional finance experience, will enjoy a fast-paced environment and be a natural completer/finisher. A service-driven attitude is essential, with the desire to continually seek improvements and take ownership as a must.

Applicants must have intermediate MS Office skills: Excel, Word, and Outlook, accounts knowledge and commercial acumen to complete transactional finance responsibilities and strong organisation skills to manage various administrative tasks.
