An Exciting opportunity has arisen within a world class university based in Central London for an Executive Assistant!

You will provide comprehensive and proactive high-level executive and administrative support to the Executive Dean and the Faculty Operating Officer to support them in fulfilling their relevant academic, research and administrative duties and functions. The primary role of the Executive Assistant is to provide professional all-round administrative support to Executive Dean and the Faculty Operating Officer.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritise with excellent time management skills and be able to manage multiple diaries and international travel. Experience in organising events is a must, whilst having strong attention to detail. Executive Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and managing multiple diaries
  • To manage the Executive Dean’s travel arrangements, both national and international, obtaining best value and providing documentation and itineraries
  • To manage correspondence, including mail, electronic communications and telephone enquiries
  • To ensure the highest level of administrative and logistical support for the Executive Dean
  • Assisting the organisation of events
  • Providing support to budget management, logging expenses and raising purchase orders
  • To prepare correspondence and documentation such as reports and presentations

Executive Assistant Key Skills:

  • Previous experience working in the Higher Education sector is desired
  • Prior experience in Event Management is a must
  • Previous experience in diary management and inbox management
  • Able to demonstrate strong minute taking
  • Excellent organisational, communication (Written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
