Signature Recruitment has the privilege to represent a fantastic permanent opportunity in the central London area. Our client, a prestigious London University has a position available in their Business School for a Programme Manager to join their professional team. The post holder will be responsible for managing the delivery of MBA courses to a high standard and work alongside leading Academics to ensure the smooth running of each of the course and be the first point of contact for student needs.

The successful candidate will be highly organised and proactive, performing programme administration duties and providing comprehensive support to School Directors and key figures of staff.

Programme Manager Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the administration process for the programme, operations, reviews and development of administrative systems to manage the designated programmes in line with the university deadlines
  • Develop and improve the service, using feedback and setting up projects to implement improvements, routinely evaluate procedures and proactively suggest operating and strategic developments
  • Working with different departments in the university to ensure practises are up to date and using virtual learning platforms
  • Support administrative activity across the student lifecycle
  • Assist with events and yearly trips
  • Oversee programme timetabling, organising assessment boards, handling mitigating circumstances and marking moderation across department

Programme Manager Skills and Experience:

  • Higher Education experience – ideally worked in a business school before or Master’s Programme
  • Good organisational skills to be able to manage a demanding and varied workload
  • Highly IT literate including Microsoft Office, VLE, CRM databases and Excel
  • Excellent time management, communication skills including a strong writing style
  • 3 – 4 years’ experience of managing or coordinating projects, activities or events to time and budget
