Our Client, an established Private School is looking for a School Secretary to join them on a permanent, full time basis within the North West London area.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills through previous experience. If you a strong knowledge of MS Office, able to organise and prioritise own workload and have a flexible, can do attitude, then this can be the perfect role for you, read on!

School Secretary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Answering the telephone in a professional and friendly manner, transferring calls to the correct party
  • Answering emails with a high level of written English
  • Manage the front of house desk, meet and greet guests, resolve queries and signpost internally
  • Support the recruitment process – this may include writing job descriptions, creating online adverts, minuting interviews and application forms
  • Data entry or other ad-hoc administration support such as filing, printing
  • Maintaining the staff training log- ensuring mandatory training is completed and all training logged
  • Liaising with parents and answering any questions from parents and the children

School Secretary Key Skills and Experience:

  • Degree educated with a 2.1 grade or higher
  • A confident communicator
  • A friendly and positive attitude
  • Well presented
  • 6-12 months office based experience
